Two-fer Tuesday

Why do we call it Two-fer Tuesday? Because I saw most everything that Cameron ate a second time. Yes, he was working on his projectile spit-up moves today. He got every article of clothing I was wearing – including my jacket and my socks. He also got all of the clothes he was wearing. If his aim is that good with his pitching arm, we’ll be in business! Needless to say, before the day was out, I put him in a sleeper (we don’t want the other kids to complain of his stench) and I came home and put all of my clothes in the wash right away. Yuck. Despite all of the regurgitation, I’m pleased to say that I haven’t had to deal with a stinky diaper since Daddy’s been benched!

We did more of the same today. He really wants to crawl, but it hasn’t happened yet. He’s probably waiting for Daddy to come back so he can show off for him. There also was some time this morning when we was interested in being held, albeit for fleeting moments. So, I willingly accommodated those requests!

At lunch we came back to the apt. to get Brent. I rang the bell, I knocked on the door, I called his name, to no avail. Vadeem, the driver, called him, but the line was busy. So, I went over to the side of the house and knocked on the window. That got his attention and he opened the door. He didn’t answer the door b/c we’ve been told not to answer unless we know someone’s coming for us. He didn’t realize we were coming back at noon, so he laid low and was trying to get on the internet at the time. Anyway, we went and grabbed lunch and then Nastia took us to a bargain shopping place and we found Brent a long sleeve shirt. He was a happy man! At last, he can go outside without freezing.

We’re having problems getting online again, so hopefully we’ll be able to post pics later. Daddy’s back in action tomorrow!

Re: Cameron doing the upchuck thing. Ah, yes, payback is sweet---even 35+ years later.
We were pleased to hear that Brent is feeling better and hope the length of his sleeves aids in that recovery. Love, Mom and Len

Ahhh how I remember the late 60's. Those were the days when teachers still wore sportsjackets and ties to work. Can you imagine what I smelled like in those days when Cam's mom was the Projectile Queen of Toledo? We couldn't afford to take all the clothes to the dry cleaners on a daily basis, so the solution was simply to spray on a lot of after shave in hopes of covering the sweet-sour smell of baby puke. Those were the days! Keep up the good work Cam!!!
Love, Dad

It may be hard for you to believe, but you get used to the spit-up. And while toddlers don't spit-up anymore, they still find plenty of ways to get you dirty. I consider it a miracle (in that it rarely happens) that I get out of the door w/out discovering some remnent from one of the kids meals on me. Ah, one of the many joys of parenting. His pics are just too sweet!! Thanks for sharing.
