Pop!

So, we're sitting on the couch last night watching the first episode of the second season of the British version of "Coupling" when suddenly we hear a "pop" and the screen on the laptop got a bit dimmer. Yes, you guessed it, the power supply died. After "work" today, we ran to 4 places with Nastia to try to find a replacement. The last place said they might be able to repair it or they can order one. but they're not sure how soon (maybe 3 weeks) before it'll come in. In the meanwhile, we'll check the 'net ourselves and see if there are any bargains...

This means that we don't have any pics today since we're now working from an internet cafe sans USB ports (or at least they aren't obvious). Also, we're not interested in having the guy yell at us in Russian if we screw something up.

Baby House was good. Cam spent more time on all 4s and we were able to go outside for a bit - though he had to be well-covered. We're told that a social worker meeting is imminent, so we've been prepping for that. Also, the coordinator here is out of town for a few days, so Nastia's dad, Alexei, is driving us around in his Lada. (Brent got a picture)

Oh yes, we had lunch at the Hotel Cosmonaut which is just down the street from the Baby House. Very nice accommodations and the food was good. We even got a Caesar salad!!!! Woohooo!!! Never thought we'd be so happy to eat lettuce!
